Flat pack is cheap because the assembly cost has been handed to you. Sometimes that is fine. Sometimes it is a five-hour Saturday, a stripped cam lock, a back panel on upside down and a wardrobe that will not close square.
Marx Maintenance builds flat pack of every kind across Albury and Wodonga — indoor furniture, garden sheds, trampolines and outdoor settings. Built to the instructions, checked square and level, and fixed to the wall or slab where it needs to be.

What we assemble
Wardrobes and storage
Built, levelled, doors adjusted so they sit flush, and anchored to the wall — which is a genuine safety issue with tall units and young kids.
Desks, beds and bookshelves
Including the awkward ones with fifty pages of instructions and no useful diagrams.
Flat pack kitchens and laundries
Cabinetry assembled, levelled and installed. Note that connecting sinks, taps and dishwashers is licensed plumbing work — we build and install the cabinetry, and can refer you to a licensed plumber for the connections.
Garden sheds and storage units
Assembled and dynabolted to a slab. Sheds that are not properly anchored do not survive a decent Border northerly.
Trampolines and play equipment
Built and secured, with enclosure nets tensioned correctly and anchor kits fitted where they should be.
Outdoor settings and BBQs
Tables, chairs, lounges and BBQ trolleys. Assembled at your place so you are not carrying them through the house.
Office and commercial fit-outs
Multiple desks, shelving runs and storage systems for offices, clinics and shops.
Disposal of the packaging
All the cardboard, foam and plastic goes with us. That is usually a bootload nobody wants.
What it costs
Flat pack is quoted per job once we know what it is — send the product name or a photo of the box. Most single items like a wardrobe, desk or bed frame are quick; garden sheds and trampolines take longer. Multiple items in one visit work out far better value than separate call-outs.

Questions
Flat Pack Assembly — FAQ
Can you pick the item up for me?
Yes, within the Albury–Wodonga area, for the cost of the time and running. Handy if it will not fit in your car.
Do you anchor furniture to the wall?
Always, on anything tall enough to tip. It is a five-minute job that has prevented a lot of very serious injuries to small children, and we will do it regardless of whether the instructions insist.
What if a part is missing or damaged?
It happens more often than you would think. We will identify exactly what is missing so you can chase the supplier, get as far as possible, and come back to finish once the part turns up.
Do you assemble large garden sheds?
Yes. If it needs a slab first, we can pour that too — see our small concreting page — and then come back and build the shed on it.
